MURALS WITH PEOPLE

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES

This mural was created during the pandemic and dedicated to healthcare workers. The owner, Jeff Brightwell, of Dot's Hop House wanted to honor his mother. Yes, the very lady the bar/restaurant was named after. Dot was a dedicated nurse her whole life, a true hero. Steve Hunter wanted to honor the NHS healthcare workers in Scotland for taking care of his father when he contracted COVID. The caregivers where amazing and helped him survive, putting their own lives as risk daily. Hunter and Brightwell collaborated on this mural's design to get their message across.
